Portraits and Media That Feel
Undeniably You

For people who don't fit into templates, poses, or normal business hours.

LUXURY STORY PORTRAITS · ON LOCATION · DALLAS–FORT WORTH

Most Photographers Can Make You Look Good.
Almost None Can Make You Look Like You.

You've seen the same portraits a thousand times. Same lighting. Same poses. Same boring professionalism that sands down every edge, quirk, and ounce of personality until everyone looks like a LinkedIn headshot.

But you're not everyone.

Maybe you're too loud, too crude, too bold for a white backdrop. Or too quiet, too careful, too particular about how you're seen. Maybe your story happens in a horse stable at dawn, a private whiskey room at 2 AM, or a garage full of cars worth more than most houses. Maybe you're neurodivergent and need a photographer who actually listens. Maybe you just refuse to be reduced to three poses and a forced smile.

The Problem

Most photographers won't go where you feel like yourself. They work 9-5. They shoot in studios. They follow the same formula for every single person because it's safe, predictable, and efficient.

And you? You get photos that are safe, predictable, and ineffective. They look fine, but you don't recognize yourself in them.

We Go Where You Go.
We Shoot When You're Alive.

Wherever You Are

Wherever You Are

Your story doesn't live in a studio — it lives where you actually exist. Whether that's a rooftop overlooking the city, a workshop full of half-finished projects, or a tattoo parlor that feels more like home than your apartment, that's where your session happens. The location isn't a backdrop. It's part of the story.

On Your Schedule

On Your Schedule

Sunrise, midday, or 2 AM — your session happens when you're most yourself, not when it's convenient for the calendar. If you come alive at midnight, that's when we shoot. Your session is built around your rhythms, not an industry standard.

Discovery Hour

Discovery Hour

Before a single camera comes out, an hour is spent entirely on you — your location, your timing, your energy, your accommodations, your story. The session is designed around the complete picture of who you are, not a formula applied to everyone.

Your Story Has Never Been Told the Way It Deserves to Be

When your energy demands more than a backdrop, we'll go where the story actually happens.

If you've sat through a portrait session that felt like a performance — like you were expected to show up, follow directions, and smile on cue — that's not how this works. Most sessions are designed around the photographer's system. This one is designed around you.

I'm Dean. I've spent over a decade building the technical foundation to go anywhere, shoot in any light, and create images that don't need a studio to justify themselves. I'm also neurodivergent, which means I know firsthand what it's like to need direct communication, real accommodation, and a space where being exactly who you are isn't a problem to manage.

I work with founders, creatives, executives, and remarkable humans whose stories don't fit neatly into someone else's template. If your session needs to happen at midnight, in a garage, or in complete silence — we'll make it happen.

You Might Be Wondering

What if my story requires a weird location or weird timing?
Then we're a perfect match. If the location or time matters to your truth, we make it happen.
I need accommodations. Will you actually follow through?
Yes. In Discovery Hour, you tell me what you need, and I design the shoot around it. No exceptions.
I'm loud, bold, and kind of a lot. Is that okay?
Absolutely. I work with people across the entire spectrum. If you're unfiltered or larger than life, bring it. I'm here to capture your truth, not sand it down.
What if I hate being photographed?
That's common. Discovery Hour exists so we can figure out what's made past experiences uncomfortable and design this one differently.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. If having a friend, partner, or support person helps, bring them.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
You can reschedule Discovery Hour once with 48 hours' notice. For cancellations, you need 7 days' notice for a refund. Full details are in the Discovery Hour Agreement.
Do you do family, wedding, or newborn photography?
I'll work with families who want something unconventional, but traditional family, wedding, and newborn photography isn't my focus. I'm happy to refer you to artists who specialize in those areas. My heart is with individuals and bold brands who want to go deeper.

If Templates Can't Contain You,
Let's Build Something Bigger.

Every year, people walk away from portrait sessions with images that are technically fine and completely forgettable — because the session was built around what works for most people, not what works for them. The portrait that follows you for the next five years should actually look like you. Not like a pleasant compromise.

If you've never had a photographer who could actually handle you — the unfiltered, the complex, the particular — this is where that changes.
